What Alumni Are Saying…

All Mid-Career Change Seekers Face The Same Problems

Chances are, if you are reading this then one (or several) of these is keeping you stuck…

  • Icon of a light bulb with a lightning bolt inside, surrounded by lines indicating illumination. Icon representing innovative ideas and clarity in climate career planning — part of the Master Your Climate Career Shift programme.

Not knowing what you actually want

You’re drawn to climate work — but when someone asks “what exactly?” your answer keeps changing.

  • Icon of a human head with a downward arrow above it, symbolising reflection and mindset shifts for professionals transitioning into sustainability and climate-focused work.

    Overthinking and self-sabotage

You tell yourself you need more clarity, more confidence, or more credentials before acting.

  • Simple green radio tower icon with concentric circles. Icon representing visibility and communication — learning how to get noticed and build networks in the climate job market.

    You can't translate your skills

You have years of experience — but struggle to see how it translates into climate roles.

  • Magnifying glass icon for focused job search and time-efficient strategies to find sustainability and climate roles.

You don't know where to even look

You’re scanning job boards for roles that don’t quite fit — while many meaningful opportunities never get posted at all.

  • Icon of a mailing envelope with a clipboard at the top and the word "OFFER" inside, representing success and job offers — achieving results and getting hired in climate and sustainability careers

The hiring process has changed but you haven't

A.I. has completely changed the process and you know you should too, but are not sure how.

  • Icon of four people connected around a speech bubble, representing communication or a group discussion.

You lack the support and motivation

Career change can feel isolating — especially when people around you don’t quite understand what you’re trying to do.

What if you knew exactly where you were heading... and how to get there?

Clarity. Direction. A path you can actually follow without the overwhelm, or the constant second-guessing.

Instead of chasing every shiny opportunity, you’re focused on the one thing that truly lights you up — and you’re moving towards it with confidence.

No more job board scrolling and application fatigue. Build visible credibility and get the job you actually want.

See what the programme actually covers

You In Six Weeks…?
Not perfect. Not finished. But fundamentally different from where you started.

So what actually changes?

You don’t get clarity by thinking harder.

And you don’t make progress by sending more applications into the void.

What most people end up doing

  • Applying broadly to ‘keep your options open’

  • Chasing roles that you ‘could probably do’

  • Trying to decide everything upfront

  • Waiting for confidence or clarity to arrive

  • Measuring progress by applications sent

What changes with the Positive Career Method™

  • Focusing on building targeted opportunities

  • Using small, deliberate actions to create clarity

  • Building credibility through conversation, proof, and visibility

  • Treating applications as a by-product, not the main strategy

How It Works…Your Six Week Sprint

  • Week 1 - Make Confident Decisions

We focus not on more options but on criteria you will use to say no more quickly and narrow your focus.

  • Week 2 - Know Your Personal Barriers

Fear, imposter syndrome, perfectionism and self sabotage all get recognised, acknowledged, and addressed.

  • Week 3 - Unlock the Hidden Job Market

You uncover opportunities you wouldn’t have found alone. Ideas turn into clear hypotheses you can explore with intent.

  • Week 4 - Create Action Loops

You learn through small, low-risk actions. Each step gives you information, confidence, and connection.

  • Week 5 - Translate And Show Your Value

Your experience makes sense to other people. Conversations, CVs, and Profiles solves their problems.

  • Week 6 - Build A Plan You Can Trust

You leave with a clear, realistic transition plan, a growing network and a solid community.

Book titled 'The 5 Day LinkedIn Launch Kit' by The Positive Career Coach, with the subtitle 'No Cringe - Just Connections' and a series titled 'Get Hired in Climate'.

Bonus 1

Five-Day LinkedIn Launch Kit : A stand alone introduction to LinkedIn for real people to over come the cringe, find your community and use it as a tool, not a time trap. (Available separately for $97)

Bonus 2

Advanced Interview Guide How to show your value clearly in interviews, without over-preparing or underselling your experience. (Goes beyond the obvious STAR format etc, looks at pre-interview research techniques)

Bonus 3

“Make Them Get It” Narrative Guide : A practical approach to explaining what you do, what you’re moving toward, and why it makes sense from THEIR point of view, not just yours.

Bonus 4

Career Criteria Detective Guide : A decision-making tool you can return to whenever new roles or opportunities appear, that uncover the hidden ‘tells’ about a role before you commit your time to research and application.

You’ve done the learning. Now let’s make it count.

Maybe you’ve already done the courses, explored the landscape, understood the systems, but understanding the space isn’t the same as knowing your place in it.

This isn’t more learning. It’s a structured, supported plan to help you take action, land a role that fits and finally make your contribution.

You could keep researching. Or you could start building something that gets you hired.

Zack’s Story
From Art Auctions to Food Waste at Too Good To Go

When Zack joined the programme, his situation was shaped by practical reality.

He needed work. He needed income. And he wanted that work to have genuine impact.

What he didn’t yet have was clarity on where that intersection sat for him — or how to pursue it in a hiring landscape that was shifting quickly.

Roles came and went. AI-driven screening altered how candidates were assessed. It became harder to tell where effort was paying off, and where it simply disappeared.

“Before enrolling, I was feeling overwhelmed by the number of career choices I had to make and how I was going to approach each of them. It was too much.”

Alongside this sat a real constraint: limited time and headspace, with a newborn at home every waking - and half awake - moment needed to count.

Turning experience into traction

Zack’s background was in the art world, including work at a major auction house. On paper, it didn’t obviously translate into climate roles.

Inside the programme, the focus shifted to understanding what that experience actually represented: analytical judgement, working with complex information, assessing value under uncertainty, and making informed decisions in nuanced contexts.

Once that story was clear, applications and conversations started to change.

“The course helped me build my tool kit to handle questions big and small and to chart my own path.”

Time pressure shaped how the work unfolded. Progress came from focus rather than volume. Actions were chosen for learning value. Conversations had a purpose. Momentum built through short, deliberate steps that fit around real life.

Conversation, community, and confidence

Working alongside people from different backgrounds brought new perspective.

“The diversity of our group is an asset. You get out of your bubble and hear observations you wouldn’t reach on your own.”

That input sharpened how Zack spoke about his experience and what he was aiming for — both inside the cohort and externally.

The space itself mattered.

“Everyone brought their honest selves. It was a very genuine and vulnerable conversation.”

Positioning, connection and landing the dream job

By the end of the programme, Zack had a clearer direction and a stronger way of positioning himself. Applications were more targeted.

His Networking Community building became more intentional. Conversations moved forward with greater confidence.

That focus translated into traction. Zack now works at Too Good To Go, a company many people in the climate and impact space actively aspire to join.

  • That’s brilliant — you’ve done the groundwork. But knowing the landscape isn’t the same as landing a role within it.

This programme is where you stop learning and start building. You’ll leave with a clear focus, a sharper story, and tangible momentum — not just more information.

  • The programme requires approximately 2–4 hours per week. This includes a 90-minute live session and additional time for reflection exercises or activities to help you make progress. The workload is flexible, and you can adapt it to fit your schedule.

  • No problem! All sessions are recorded, and you’ll have access to the recordings to catch up at your own pace. You can also engage with your cohort in our community spaces or during future sessions to stay on track.

  • While this is a group programme, we ensure that you have personalised guidance. Modules include individual exercises, and you’ll have the share and reflect on your personal circumstances, goals, and challenges

  • By the end, you’ll have clarity on your next career steps, a personalised action plan, and confidence in your ability to transition into meaningful climate work. You’ll also leave with a stronger network, sharp employment assets (LinkedIn / Resume) and the tools to keep making progress.

This course is not for you if…

  • You don’t have 2-3 hours every week for reflection and action plus 90 minutes for our live workshops

  • You do not recognise that the person doing the work is YOU. You are your most valuable resource but you have to use it

  • You expect a guaranteed job at the end of the course. It is up to you to put the learning into practice and work towards making your goal a reality. (Which feels like something your mother might say, I know)
